Games that Need HD Remakes

I’m a sucker for HD remakes. While it’s nice to see a game revamped and redone completely, sometimes they’re best staying just the way they were originally – with a fresh coat of paint. Some prime examples of incredible HD remakes are Perfect Dark, the Jak and Daxter Trilogy, and Beyond Good and Evil HD. Same great gameplay, but more visually appealing. Furthermore, there are many titles out there I dream of seeing remade in HD, while still having the general gameplay untouched. These solid titles need not be changed, and I miss them so very dearly. Kingdom Hearts The first two Kingdom Hearts games hold a special place in my… heart (cheesy, I know). These action-rpg titles had some of the most memorable cast of characters I’ve ever seen in any game, and this includes some of the new original characters as well. Of course having some of the Final Fantasy and Disney cast make appearance really helped feed into that, but even the three main original characters: Sora, Riku, and Kairi, were so unforgettable. Let’s not forget the gameplay, though. Kingdom Hearts 2 had some of the most difficult battles I will not forget (Sephiroth, anyone?). They really nailed it with the characters, story, environments, and good ol’ challenging gameplay. A girl with many hobbies and interests, Melonie McElhannon, known also as Cryptik from the all-girl competitive gaming team, the Frag Dolls, is always up for adventure and new experiences. Having grown up in a military family, Melonie became accustomed to frequently moving all over the country – she loved it. One thing remained the same, however, and that was the fact that no matter where she lived, she still found herself distracted by her video games on a daily basis.
Gaming has always been a part of Melonie’s life, and her family facilitated that since her early childhood. Having two brothers close in age definitely made for great opponents, and always determined to beat them in as many games as possible, Melonie received a lot of gratification out of the competitive side of gaming. This fueled her interest in competing and winning local tournaments, while also driving her passion to professionally compete someday. Whether she’s PvPing in MMOs, owning face in Shooters, or getting lost in RPGs, Melonie is always open to experiencing any and all genres of gaming.
Apart from gaming, Melonie has a wide variety of hobbies. Drawing is a huge part of her life, and she is determined to one day publish her own graphic novel. Moreover, Melonie also spends a great deal of time playing guitar, piano, singing, and listening to some of her favorite rock bands. While she currently has an Associates degree in Web Development, Melonie is further pursuing her education in Marketing.
Becoming a Frag Doll has been Melonie’s dream for years, and she is thrilled that her dream has come true. As a part of the team, Melonie is determined to use her unbridled ambition and motivation to encourage gamers everywhere, male and female alike, to chase their dreams and never lose sight of doing what they truly enjoy in life.
