A New Year for the Dolls!
January 09, 09:00 AM

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language And next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning” ~T.S. Eliot, “Little Gidding” As most of you know the Frag Dolls team has gone through a lot of changes and growth over the last six months. With our beloved Team Captain, Rhoulette and original Frag Doll Brooklyn moving on in their careers, we have undergone a big loss, but this has also allowed us to refocus and align the team’s goals and direction for future.  It is with great excitement that we bring to you a taste of some of these changes. Throughout the last few months we have identified new needs and desire to increase the team’s growth and ability to impact the industry and Ubisoft brands through the way we recruit our new Cadettes and Frag Dolls.  The restructuring of the cadette program and how we recruit has now become a top priority, and we are instilling changes that have reflected the feedback from our Cadette surveys. As the face of Ubisoft at industry events and online, it is imperative that we continue to groom Cadettes at a prestigious level, while trying to align with our goal of providing females a place to gain experience and network in the gaming industry.  As Sabre’s Cadette recruitment blog discussed, we will begin implementing a new plan with the focus on raising the bar …

A big smile, great weapon handling and a voice that carries like a cheerleader’s goes a long way – especially if you are a female gamer in a male-dominated industry plagued by “ideas” of what a girl gamer should be. Driven to dispel the stereotypes that exist about girl gamers and help create a safe haven for other female gamers, Amy has made a mark in the gaming community like no other female gamer before her. She helped to create and lead the largest multi-platform female clan, consisting of hundreds of gun-toting women that compete on all the top games on all major platforms.

Competition is no stranger to Brady who is more than just an online “gamer”. Brady is known as “Valkyrie” in the video game online community as a member of Ubisoft’s all-girl gaming team, the Frag Dolls. The team includes seven members who each boast a signature name and the intent to not only win but dominate. It’s obvious that Brady contributes considerably to the team with her extraordinary organizational abilities and leadership on the field.

Brady was also one of the creative forces behind building, developing, and marketing the Pandora’s Mighty Soldiers (PMS) website into one of the largest clan communities in the world. Her degree in Psychology of Organizational Development and experience in human resources help assist her in leading, organizing, promoting, and managing her online communities and to Co-Lead her clan.

Although Brady’s introduction to professional gaming came with the formation of the Frag Dolls shortly before the release of Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow, she has been a gamer ever since the days of Atari.  While Amy has placed high in many tournaments, in December 2006 she was part of the four member Frag Doll team that took 1st place in the Rainbow Six Vegas tournament at CPL Dallas.  This made history by being the first all-female team to rank number one in a co-ed professional LAN tournament. She was also a cast member on the first season of the hit reality show, WCG Ultimate gamer, where she took fifth place and was the last woman standing.

Once spending two days straight playing Final Fantasy III, Brady consistently proves she is passionate about playing video games. Aside from the considerable amount of hours spent on practice a week for the Frag Dolls, Brady pours in an additional 50-60 more hours of personal game play. A lover of all genres, franchises such as Rainbow Six, Halo, Magic the Gathering, and World of Warcraft are responsible for keeping her so busy today.
