Last year I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Edinburgh Interactive Festival (EIF) and meet some fascinating people including the Red vs Blue guys and the ultimate Guitar Hero, Simon Byron, who opened for Guns & Roses playing GHII. I jumped at the chance to attend again this year knowing that I would have the chance to speak to Mark Rein creator of the Unreal engine, my old mate Doctor Dave Doak, he of the beardiness, creator of Goldeneye 007, Timesplitters and now Haze.
