The broad wing span of the encroaching shadow would have been enough to shy away any normal mortal, but Sarin was here on a quest. It had been no mistake that she had made camp upon the brink of these treacherous lands, and she was ready. The massive demon alighted upon one of the nearby pillars, with the gracious air of a body held by powerful muscles. It turned its sinuous neck to look at the trespasser, beady eyes rolling and fierce barbed tongue tasting the air. Sarin drew her sword from her back; it glinted in the sunlight causing the beast to lunge at the spot occupied by the girl. She executed a perfect triple back flip to safety and the demons fangs bit into the soft ground. It roared in a high pitched yet booming call that echoed off the scenery. Sarin leapt forward and plunged the blade deep into its spiny jaw, blood ran from the open mouth. The battle was tense as the demon whipped its mighty tail around its body striking the girl and throwing her backwards. She recovered fast pulling her sword up to block the oncoming talons. Rolling to a safer spot she flipped to her feet and pulled a revolver from her belt. Sarin stepped backwards pelting the beast with silvery bullets causing its head to real sharply from side to side. This exposed the subtle flesh of the neck and Sarin saw her chance. The revolver was thrown aside and the sword firmly grasped in both hands, she spun forward and sliced through the jugular. The demon slumped forward; Sarin turned, and then sprinted into the distance.
The silken blood ran across the ground and began to soak into the earth. The stones trembled and a dry breeze danced around the corpse carrying the distant call ‘COME PLAY MY GAME’
Some people say you can play to many computer games...., that they are a waste of time. These people need to pick up a controller and find out just what they are complaining about. Fantasy worlds and futuristic universes, or simply a more interesting everyday life, are waiting for you to sign on. Don’t shy away, pull up a seat and stay for a drink, maybe this time I’ll tell you a real story.
Welcome to my first blog, welcome to Frag Dolls UK. We hope you enjoy the tea and biscuits.
