When it’s cold outside….
Oct 24, 3:58 pm

It is lucky for me that I live in a very small flat. I have recently discovered that I am a very lazy person; well, I probably knew this all along but am only just willing to openly admit it. So the fact that my bed is no more than a gnats whisker from the TV is a good thing. The fact that my shelves of games are on the way is another good thing. And the fact that when on the sofa, in front of the TV, the kettle is a mere stretch away is just fabulous.

I had the pleasure of gaming with a select crew from the Frag Dolls forum the other night when my heating broke. This event was most unfortunate as the weather seems to have taken rather a turn for the worse. I was, however, able to rectify the situation very rapidly by getting a duvet off the bed and popping a hot water bottle in my lap. Two giant mugs of tea later and I had lost every game that I’d played, but no matter, it’s hard to game and drink piping hot tea at the same time. Well, that’s my excuse anyway.

I really do need it to be a little bit warmer though. I don’t want to go out because it will be cold, and I don’t want to stay in because it is cold! I think the key to the situation will be to invent something that will make me a lot of money and then migrate for the winter.  Or move to a bigger flat that gives me more space to run around, thus warming myself. I have of course contacted the landlords so they can fix the heater, but I have little faith that they can do that before I can invent something marvellous.

On the plus side being really cold might cause me to catch a cold or even better flu. I have been so busy of late with dull non-gaming related things that I haven’t had much time for gaming. A good stint of flu would allow me to sit at home, guilt free, playing away to my hearts content. I could get stuck into an action adventure in the day time, maybe breaking for a little racing with lunch and then FPS the evenings away on good old Lockdown. Oh how I miss it.

I have somewhat neglected poor Lockdown for the evils of Burnout of late. I miss the section of my friends list that I found on Lockdown and I miss the bubbling rage of the spawn camping on clinic (I know it sounds silly but everyone gets so up tight that it gets a really good conversation going!) I really want to get some medium armour and strut about in it, and I’d kind of like a knife too.

Burnout you take up too much of my time and need to take a back seat, Lockdown Hurrah!
